Reflection..
Doing this project was difficult because I did not know nothing about that holiday. The hardest part of this activity was the researching part trying to get a understanding of that holiday. I learned that the holiday Day of the Dead is similar to Halloween, the two had became closely linked in the United States. Here in the United States, Latinos are far from their homeland and they rely on more art to express the occasion. In Mexico, there are festivals of the Day of the Dead, the greatest expression of both popular Catholicism and the national cuisine. People construct altars in their homes and graveyards throughout the country in order to feed the souls of the dead.
